Scenes
Here are some scenes from my recent life.
All photos taken with Canon EOS 400D w/ EF-S 18-55mm kit lens

School in KL. Taken during sunset

Sunset in KL

Paddy fields in Kuala Selangor. Notice the sea eagle hovering?

Blue skies…
Igentis Bubble Tea
I haven’t been blogging lately. Here’s an update.
We had dinner at Igentis yesterday, here’s my say.

I had plain water. Wasn’t too adventurous to try out their bubble tea.

My Indonesian Fried Rice. I never had Indonesian food, so I wanted to try it out. It didn’t have any ‘kick’ in it. Give me red chillies or some spicy gravy, please.

Jelly. Comes with sago in it. A little too milky for me, maybe too much coconut milk.
Overall, I’ll give it 4/10. I wouldn’t want to eat here if I had the choice. Edible, though.
Sunway Pyramid
Went to Sunway Pyramid yesterday. We were initially at Amcorp Mall. Had dinner at Rak Thai there and went off at about 7pm. I thought (and hoped, as I was tired) we were already going home, but we went to Sunway Pyramid. The first thing that came to me was the last time I was there was 5 years ago, in 2002, before our previous maid left for her hometown.

I’m lucky I had my EOS 400D with me. I did some shots.
We went to SonyStyle and I saw this newly launched DSLR Alpha 700 there, retailing at RM5499 including a kit lens. This guy, probably about 16 or so, was also looking at the a700, then he saw me with my camera and gave me some awkward look. Bet he wants one
I went to Fotokem before getting to the car and saw some lenses for my EOS there. I wanted to buy this Canon lens hood but I figured I could get it for cheaper from where I got my camera from. I’ll let the photos of Pyramid do the talking. I’d think the photos could have turned out better, but hey, I’m still new to it and I’m experimenting settings so please bear with me.

That’s all for now. Thanks for reading.
I Finally Got My…
…first dSLR!!!!!!!!! Any guesses what make and model?

Lens Cover. Any?

That’s it.
My brother got his long-wanted Nokia N73 yesterday, so I got this. The EOS 400D with EF-S 18-55mm kit lens bundle. The camera kit came with a nice tripod, two Canon backpacks, a Canon bag for it, a Canon umbrella and added in was a Hoya UV Filter. I initially wanted the Nikon D40X (D80 was too expensive), but upon discovering that this EOS was on par with the D80, I seized it. Now I need lenses and filters… Haha

Smaple Photos. All taken with EF-S 18-55mm kit lens with UV Filter

Lumix Leica DMC-FX7 will be a compact camera for my siblings/parents use now (also for me if I need it for any reason)

Hello EOS 400! Photo is shaky due to bad lighting and slow shutter time.
Short Talk : October 13 2007
Right. I am going for a cruise on SuperStar Virgo on 16 December 2007. Expect some decent photos from the trip, as by then I’ll learn some new skills and even get new equipment!

Hello Virgo!
1901
Remember 1901 hotdogs? From what I remember, they were missing for sometime. Now, they’re back. Seeing them in Jusco Bukit Raja, I opted to pack one home. I tried Chicago Beef. Overall, it wasn’t bad, I quite liked it. Maybe because it has mustard… I’ll give it 6/10

The Scarlet Fever
Ferrari. The word that gets your blood pumping. Even more when it’s red. Here’s the 1987 Ferrari F40. Sure, it doesn’t look like it’s 20 years old, which is why it’s said to be ahead of it’s time at its launching. It’s 3-litre bi-turbocharged V8 produces 500bhp, enough to scare any other supercar I’ve posted here, although the rest produce more. That’s because all its 500bhp have been finely fettled to by Ferrari. 0-100kph comes in a breathtaking 3.1 seconds. Here’s my 1:18 Kyosho F40, which doesn’t move at all
I got it shipped here from Motorsports Model in Singapore.
